People’s Choice Home Brew Tasting Competition

Oktoberfest attendees will have the opportunity to partake in a tasting event on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 from Noon-3 p.m. in the Biergarten while participating home brewers serve up samples of their best brews!

To enter this battle of brew, homebrewers need to complete the home brew application below and commit to serving a 5 gallon keg or bottle equivalent. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams.

Steinhoisting Competition

Head to the Biergarten at 3 p.m. Saturday and test your strength. The object of the game is to hoist a full liter stein longer than anyone else. Competitors must use only one hand, and the steins must be held at arm’s length without spilling.

One male and one female winner will be crowned and will receive an etched pewter stein, along with a year’s worth of bragging rights. There is a $5 entry fee and you must be 21 or older to participate.
